Remedial massage is focused on easing tight and knotted muscles and tension and increasing the blood flow to help repair damaged tissue and to prevent further damage.

The body’s blood flow from Injury or stress from poor posture becomes stagnant which increases inflammation in turn this cause’s pain and muscle constriction which releases through massaging performed by a remedial massage therapist.

A remedial massage therapist is also trained in undertaking Sports massage and as the name suggests it deals with sports injuries that come from soft tissue and joint injuries.  Sports massage utilizes deep tissue techniques to target problem areas caused by activity.
